I didn't see what I'm looking for, do you offer customized packages?
Yes! Whether you're an entrepreneur or business looking to book a brand session, dreaming of having a day in the life session with your family, or even planning a multi day wedding, I am able to work with you to create the right package to fit your needs and bring your vision to life.
I'm not confident in front of the camera, is that okay?
Yes! I understand it can take awhile to feel comfortable being photographed. I'll give you prompts throughout the session so you're not left wondering what to do. And I try to keep things fun and playful for your session.
What should I wear?
The key phrase to remember is "coordinating, not matching". You can wear prints (and even mix), add texture through layers or different materials, and accessorize with hats, whatever it is that fits your style! I do recommend staying away from crew neck shirts for women and solid colors like tan, black and white aren't always the most flattering in photos. If you wear one of those colors I do suggest the clothing piece have texture, like lace sleeves, or fur vest.
What's the best time for photos?
For newborns, I come to your home in the morning, usually around 9 am when the lighting is softer.
For outdoor family sessions, I prefer in the evenings, closer to sunset hours. I know this can be challenging with kids depending on the time of year so there is some flexibility in this. We can work something else out if this will be an issue for your family.
How many pictures will we receive?
For a family session that will depend on the package you book.
For a newborn session you can expect 60+ images in your gallery.
For a wedding, you can expect about 50 photos per hour of coverage that you booked.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No! You'll be able to download the images from your gallery and print them at the lab of your choice. But there is the option to order prints, wall art and customizable cards through a professional photo lab via your online gallery. These are convienently shipped right to your home as well.
When should I expect my photos back?
Your photos will be sent to you within 4 weeks from your session date. I hand edit all images myself so it does take me some time to sort and edit each image from your session.
For weddings, you can expect your gallery to be sent to you within 10 weeks from your wedding date.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! Whether you're wanting to be in the mountains or at the beach for your session I can accommodate your desires so long as it works with my schedule. There may be travel fees but I'm happy to provide you with the additional fee upfront before you make your decision to travel.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with a Nikon Z6ii. I use a variety of lenses including zoom and prime lenses depending on the session.
